Final Christmas Sewing Pt 2

A regency era girls dress for my 8yr old daughter to wear this christmas.
I made it from some 'Fresh' fabric by Deb Strain that I got on sale.
The pattern is by Sensibility.com and I bought mine from HomeschoolHeaven.com.au
There are two pin tucks along the bottom of the skirt, three would have made it too short.
I alternated the thread that I sewed the buttons on with, a tangerine colour and light greeny colour. 'Jessie' Girl' loves this and proudly showed her dad the 'fancy' buttons and thread!

Last night I started on this new, quick and easy quilt using a Figgy Pudding jellyroll. Love these fabrics..... can't wait to get this together to share it. It won't be ready in time for christmas this year, but I can still admire it hanging over the sewing machine!
