It was really easy to piece and quilt. I used a gold thread (rasant) and quilted in the ditch and both sides of the gold borders, yes even the curvy one! I quilted and bound it the night before she got it.
Tonight (if I ever get dinner on the table that is!) I am binding a second runner but it is in different colours; more pink and a tanny cream.
