Day Trip to Nundle

Late last week Kylie and I met at Cottage on the Hill at Nundle. This is kinda half way for us.
Here we are pictured with Kerry in front of a Rural Jardin quilt, just gorgeous fabrics!
After shopping at Cottage on the Hill we visited the Nundle Woollen mill. I bought some seconds wool to put away for a future project that I am collecting for; and Kylie bought something to try a new craft (I will let her tell you about that). Then we had lunch at the park and browsed quilt books and had a lovely time. This sort of meeting for me is treasured as I don't have any quilting groups to attend to and rarely see anybody in person that quilts.

Some of the beautiful quilts that adorn Kerry's shop walls.

A lovely array of buttons in the beautiful old cupboard.
