Lovely wrapping paper!
Matilda Station is finished, wrapped and gone to it's new home!
A massive quilt and a huge amount of work; but very satisfying to have it finished.
A few weeks ago I went to make another sewing purse for a friend and stuffed it up. I didn't re-pin and sewed right over a pin and then caught almost the tip of the pin and broke the machine needle. It is the white headed pin in middle of the photo; and this project is still not finished!
Since I last blogged I have been head down working hard on my SSCS present to send. I finished it today and have it ready to post. The little parcel on top contains a christmas ornament and the recipient is to open this upon recieving the parcel; then the larger parcel is to be put away to be opened on Christmas day.

Well done on the finish - Matilda's Station looks gorgeous. What fun working on the SSCS too - the 'open now' gift is a great idea.
Love the Matilda Station, I don't remember seeing the border before, and I really like it. How big is it? I think I better turn off my computer for a few days and finish up some Christmas things, so I can enjoy the season and not stress out about projects left until the last minute.
