Dear Jane/Farmers Wife Sampler Quilts

I have previously been interested in these quilts and now a non-blogging friend is wanting to know about them.
Can you PLEASE email me or leave a comment if you are making one, have made, or know much about them.
I have located the Dear Jane website, but want to hear from other quilters.
Thanks so much!

Hi Bec, I’m making a Dear Jane quilt using the wonderful tutorials from Anina posted on this blog:

Hi Bec, I've been doing some Dear Jane blocks just using the book as a guide ... so far so good. Not sure I'd do the whole quilt as I don't have that much time on my hands at the moment lol, probably end up being a table topper. I'm really enjoying making them though, very relaxing.
Hugs,
Joy :o)

Hi Bec. You may look for Brenda Manges Papadakis book: Dear Jane, 225 patterns from 1863 Jane A.Stickle quilt.
You can also have a look at Hanne`s quiltcorner, she is a member of OPAM 2010, you can find her on Kris`s sidebar. She has made the whole quilt, and handquilted it! and several "baby Janes" also.
I have made 5 x 5 in blue, and started on a big in red......

I've made about 25 DJ blocks so far, over the last year or so, just now and then when I remember/feel like it/have nothing else to do. So far I've made them all by hand, but I'm thinking about doing some on the machine - I'll have to see what it looks like.

I started last year when a work mate suggested we meet once a week to start Dear Jane, she had just come back from the U.S where she had left her completed quilt to be quilted by the Amish, so we blame her for getting us addicted. I bought the Dear Jane book and also follow the That Quilt site

Hi Bec, just found your blog and happened across this post. I'm working on a DJ right now and have ordered Farmer's Wife patterns. I'm loving it! New to blogging, I just posted a bit more info about Dear Jane.
Happy Quilting!!

I am frequently browsing the web for finished Dear Janes and add the links to the flickr group "Jane A. Stickle - The finished quilt" Jane A. Stickle - The finished quilt
You will find a lot of inspiration from those "Janiacs"
