Courthouse Steps by Nat

Another stunning quilt by my non-blogging-new-quilting friend Nat!
This is another log-cabin quilt done in the Courthouse Steps version, how cool does that look!
This is for one of her sons.
Nat would love some suggestions for more masculine quilts - can we have some links, pictures and ideas please......

Stunning, almost "modern" Amish with the plain bold colours and black border. I think Nat needs a needs a blog.

What a terrific quilt, I was at the sewing store yesterday (didn't buy anything!!!) and I saw solids on sale, I may need to get some now that I'm inspired. I'll be watching for masculine quilt ideas. I want to make a new one for my son. Beautiful work Nat!

That's so terrific, very BOY :o)!! A friend of mine has sons too and she did one called 'lightning bolt' - it was made using the three rail fence block with a black strip a red strip and I think a blue one (or yellow??). It was really simple and very effective. Super for a boy.
Hugs,
Joy :o)

Love your forks quilt and Nat's quilt looks great too.
I've still got my flannel quilt I made at Nundle for James to complete. Loved the pattern and colours for a man.
