Alternate Basting Space

My beautiful crab apple tree is in blossom.

When I basted the flannel quilt a few weeks ago I couldn't do it on the lounge room floor as it was too big so I used dh's workbench over in the shed. It was lovely and big and flat; however it was also open to the elements, esp the dust! I had tidied and cleaned up before I used it.
The bench is a metre or more off the ground and aside from coming close to the edge a few times it was nice being up there.

I love crab apple blossom, will have to check mine if it's blossoming

Sounds like a much better idea than crawling around on the floor!

Your season is well ahead of ours. I don't expect our crab apple to be out for a while yet.

You did well to be able to find so much clear space on the work bench. I'd have buckleys of ever being able to clear any space on Mick's.

I use our deck for basting large items. I get eaten up by mosquitos. I love crab apple trees we had a huge beautiful one growing up.
