Computer Hogs....

Yes I have been shoved offline by some computer hogs that live at my house. In the past 4-5 days I have had FOUR other people vying for my computer in my 'free time' so I have not been here.

I have finished the baby quilt with stars, Sophie's Stars and also a second Christmas in July swap. No quilt pic's yet as I just haven't gotten around to it yet. soon. *grin*

My nobuynewfabric has been going pretty well. Some days harder than others. It is comforting to know that there are others out there also cutting back their spending. I don't feel so alone. If you have joined me How are you going? Any temptations? Give Ins?

Just touching base with you all tonight, will blog more soon. Bec xxx

Hello Bec, I haven't been near the quilt shop for the last two weeks, not even for any thread. I've started cutting into my stash and scraps to make the Gordon Bear quilt, so hopefully that will keep me busy. But - we are going away for the weekend, and if I come across a new quilt shop it might be difficult.

Good going, Bec! \o/\o/ You're doing a great job of encouraging the rest of us by your example. :-)

It felt good today just buying a button and a skein of thread...I didn't even LOOK at the fabrics! I will have to buy 1/2 metre of more background fabric for the Breast of Friends blocks before we leave here on Friday though...in case I can't get the same in Qld. However, that's not a fabric splurge as it's within your rules of finishing projects, and it's not something new, just more of the same. Did that make sense?! ;-)

I have three computers in this house and still sometimes can't get to my laptop....
He/her who yells the loudest get the laptop.
I'm going very well with no buying new fabric.
I've just finished my Xmas runner with fabric I had.
I've also started a new project with fabric I have and have the finishing fabric organised too.
I'd say I'm going great guns.
Don't ask about what I AM spending money on.....

Really! The nerve of the others in the house wanting to use the computer!!! I don't have to share anymore as the hogs have all moved out and have their own comps now... One day this too will be your reality! 8-)
I haven't bought so much as even a single FQ...
Good luck with your commitments ladies!
